Florida Cowboy Wins Multiple Awards at Cowboy Mounted Shooting Competition
Nationally recognized equine entertainer and clinician Denny Chapman of Ocala, Fl, won the Pro Class and Mounted Rifle Shooting competition at the Florida CMSA’s Cowboy Mounted Shooting competition in New Smyrna Beach, FL, July 11-13.
Chapman also took top Team Jackpot honors along with one of his students, 13 year-old Amanda Cook, from Summerfield FL. “I have a great time representing my sponsors at these events,” Chapman said, “They’ve been very good to me and I’m proud to be associated with such prestigious names in the horse industry as Mane ‘n Tail® products.”
The event, which took place at the Silver Sands Arena, was sanctioned by the Cowboy Mounted Shooting Association in Scottsdale, Az, and featured some 50 competitors from the Southeastern United States.
